Men’s professional volleyball Hyundai Capital has launched a “last-minute spurt” toward spring volleyball.

Hyundai Capital beat Woori Card 3-1 (17-25 25-20 25-18 25-17) in the men’s home game of the Dodram 2023-2024 V-League at Yu Gwan-soon Gymnasium in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, on the 12th.

Hyundai Capital, which won three consecutive games, accumulated 53 points (17 wins and 18 losses) and narrowed the gap with OK Financial Group (57 points, 20 wins and 15 losses) to four. The semi-playoff will take place if the gap between the third and fourth places is less than three points.

However, Hyundai Capital also staged a counterattack by winning the second set thanks to stellar performances by Kim Sun-ho and Ahmed Iqvairi (registered name Ahmed).

The winner was the third set. Middle blocker Choi Min-ho of Hyundai Capital caught two blocks and hit five swift attacks to become a troubleshooter.
