Global soccer media “Sport 360” introduced four candidates for striker recruitment on the 28th with a comment, “Which player should be Real No. 9 in 2024?”
The first is Manchester City monster striker Erling Holan. The rationale is a buyout clause. Spain’s As said, “Holan has been steadily linked to Real Madrid. He has a buyout clause that will take effect next summer. The details are not known, but he can leave Manchester City for around 200 million euros.”
Second is world class forward Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Up until last summer, Mbappe appeared to be joining the Real Madrid team, known as the Dream Club. He has yet to sign a contract extension with PSG, and there is not much time left until his contract can be terminated as a free agent. Some people are rumored to have thrown a deadline at Mbappe.
Next up is Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. Osimhen, who won the Scudetto (the Italian Serie A title) last season, recently agreed to extend his contract with Napoli. However, the buyout clause is still in effect and has spread around 130 million euros. Fabrizio Romano, a transfer market expert, said his move will be decided next summer.
Last but not least is Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic. He is the least likely among the four players. He joined Juventus for a whopping 83.5 million euros last winter, but has rarely performed as a Fiorentina player. Vlahovic, who was expected to be the next world class along with Hallan, Mbappe and Osimhen, is still going downhill.
Real Madrid is searching for a top striker. Recently, a promising Brazilian striker named Endrick was recruited, but it is not enough to immediately expect a world-class level. As such, there is constantly being talked about the possibility that one of the four players could head to Real Madrid next summer.
Real, which entered a break for a while, will face Mallorca in the 19th round of Spain’s La Liga in the 2023-24 season at Santiago Bernabeu on the 4th at 3:15 a.m.
