Gaming giant Park Place Entertainment Corp. on April 10 unveiled plans to build a 4,000-seat entertainment venue at Caesars Place in Las Vegas.

Designed to resemble the Colosseum in Rome, the $65 million facility will add a stunning new landmark to the center of Las Vegas Boulevard located at the casino entrance near The Forum Shops at Caesars.

“The name Caesars has always been synonymous with the word ‘entertainment’ in Las Vegas,” said Park Place Chief Executive Thomas Gallagher. “The new venue will mark the Palace’s return to that preeminent position.

Park Place also said it is looking into the design and feasibility of building a new 800-room hotel tower. It plans to disclose details of the new project “in coming months.”

The new Colosseum will be 100 feet high and constructed on land formerly occupied by the Omnimax movie theater. Replacing the famed Circus Maximus Showroom, the Colosseum will feature a huge stage, spanning 22,000 square feet.

Already this year, the company has put new facades on three resort’s original hotel towers and redesigned 600 guest rooms, two restaurants and portions of the casino. 카지노사이트먹튀
