Coach Kim Jong-bu Appointed as Head Coach of Nanjing FC in the Chinese Second Division League

Coach Kim Jong-bu (59), who led Chinese professional soccer team Hebei FC, which was disbanded in March last year due to financial difficulties, is making a new start as head coach of Nanjing FC in the top league (second division).

Nanjing FC announced on the 3rd that coach Kim Jong-bu will take over as head coach, and Jeong In-hwan, who led the K-League 1 Suwon FC’s under-18 team last year, will join as coach and prepare for the new season. 온라인카지노

Accordingly, coach Kim Jong-bu, who parted ways with Hebei FC, which was struggling with financial difficulties in December 2022, took a hiatus for about a year and then took the reins in the Chinese league again.

Nanjing FC is a second division team and ranked 5th out of 16 teams last season.

Coach Kim Jong-bu, who debuted as a professional coach at Gyeongnam FC in 2016, first established a relationship with the Chinese league when he took over as head coach of Hebei FC in 2021.

After a short break, he took charge of Nanjing FC and challenged promotion to the first division.

Coach Kim Jong-bu said, “Nanjing FC is currently in Division 2, but I chose it because I really wanted to advance to the Super League (Division 1).

The existing coaching staff cooperated well and the players were training hard, so I chose the new team.”

“I’m preparing well for the season,” he said.

He explained, “I quit Hebei FC and took a break in Korea for about a year.

In the meantime, I have been thinking a lot about taking on the role of coach in the Chinese league again, and I am incorporating that into my training.”
