The Shell Hilix Player Race in April of the 2024 KBO League is led by foreign players.
The Shell Hilix Player is awarded to a pitcher and a batter who rank No. 1 in the monthly contribution to victory (War) compared to a substitute player. As of Tuesday, Jonathan Peraza of the Hanwha Eagles ranks first in the batter category with 1.22 points.
Peraza had a batting average of 0.449 (22 hits in 49 times at bat), six homers and 12 RBIs, a slugging percentage of 0.898 and a on-base percentage of 0.533 in the 13 games in which he played. He ranks first for batting average and home runs, and second for hits.
Peraza is invigorating Hanwha’s offense with his fierce swing and determined play.
