Cho Gyu-seong Missed PK, Missed 10th Goal

Cho Kyu-sung (26)’s Mitwillan (Denmark) succeeded in reclaiming the lead.

At the MCH Arena in Henning, Denmark, on Monday, Mitwillan won 2-0 in the 20th round of the 2023-2024 Super League. He thus has two consecutive wins.

Meat Whelan, who added three points, scored 42 points, beating Brønbü (40 points), who played one game less, by two points and regained the top spot in two months.

Cho played full time, but managed to swallow his disappointment due to missed penalty kicks. He failed to garner goals for two consecutive games and hunt for his 10th goal in the regular season.

Lee Han-beom, who scored his debut goal in the previous 19th round, briefly stepped on the ground as a substitute in the 39th minute of the second half.

In the 34th minute of the first half, Mittwhelan took the lead when Maz Vech Sørensen headed a cross from the right to score the first goal.

In the fifth minute of the second half, when the team was leading 1-0, Cho induced a penalty kick to score an additional goal. After receiving a cross delivered from the left side, Cho clashed with the goalkeeper after beating the defender.

The referee declared a penalty kick, and Cho Kyu-sung himself was the kicker. However, the goalkeeper blocked the shot that flew to the right corner of the net, lowering his head.

Cho has scored nine goals in this season’s league. Including one goal at the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying match in August last year, he has scored 10 goals in official matches.

Mitwillan finished with a 2-0 win thanks to an extra goal from Dario Osorio in the second half of extra time. 토토사이트 추천
