The U15 Division of the 2023 Incheon Bupyeong-gu Youth Club League (i-League) was held on the 12th at the 토토사이트 Bupyeong Southern Sports Center in Bupyeong-gu, Incheon.
In the final, Vista showed off their height against Keums Sports, winning 33-22 to take the title.
“It’s not the first time we’ve competed, but it’s the first time we’ve won, so it’s exciting and fun,” said Nam Hyun-seok, who was responsible for Vista’s height.
Mr. Nam has been playing basketball for less than a year, having started playing with his friends.
“I started playing basketball to play with my friends. I first learned to play basketball in the winter of 6th grade, and now I can’t get away from it,” he laughs.
After playing basketball as a hobby with his friends, his dream is to become a paramedic.
“Even if I become a high school student and an adult, I will continue to play basketball. I want to continue to have fun playing basketball like this,” said Nam Hyun-seok. “Coaches Cho Min-seok and Kim Hyun-soo always tell me that it’s important to have fun. Winning and scoring are important, but they also teach me a lot so that I can have fun with basketball,” he said.
“I haven’t been to a professional basketball game yet, but I really want to go to a Seoul SK game. I like Jamil Warney and Kim Sun-hyung, and I want to see them play on the court,” he concluded.
